About the artist
Imany (настоящее имя — Надья Младьо) — певица родом с Коморских островов. Надья мечтала стать профессиональной спортсменкой и занималась прыжками в высоту. А потом увлеклась модельным бизнесом и взяла себе псевдоним Imany (с суахили он переводится как «вера»). Затем Младьо перебралась во Францию и стала певицей, выступающей в стиле афро-соул. В 2011 году вышел её дебютный альбом The Shape of a Broken Heart (2011), пластинка получила «платиновый» статус. В 2016 году певица выпустила вторую пластинку The Wrong Kind of War.
