Jamiroquai — яркие представители британского джаз-фанка и эйсид-джаза. Фронтменом и идейным вдохновителем группы выступает музыкант Джей Кей, который основал её в 1992 году. Название коллектива получилось сложением двух слов: jam (импровизированная игра музыкантов) и Iroquois (ирокезы — племя североамериканских индейцев). В 1996 году Jamiroquai записали альбом Travelling Without Moving: пластинка попала в Книгу рекордов Гиннесса как самый продаваемый альбом в стиле фанк.
