В 2008 году Адам вместе с музыкантами представил альбом Maybe I'm Dreaming. 14 июля 2009 года вышла пластинка альбом Ocean Eyes. Она возглавила американский чарт электронных треков. 24 января 2010 года хит Owl City Fireflies возглавил британский чарт. Композиция стала официальным саундтреком игры Tap Tap Revenge 3. Летом 2010 года группа записала саундтрек To the Sky к мультфильму «Легенды ночных стражей».
