The week at a glance

What changed

“Primadonna” jumps to No. 3

twocolors — “Primadonna” moved from No. 12 to No. 3 in the weekly chart. On the same stations as a week earlier it got 260 plays, up from 214. Two stations account for the gain. Hit FM has played the song every day since October 19, three to five times a day, for 29 plays against 8. DFM Pop Dance doubled its count to 21 from 10. The three Europa Plus stations that play it most barely changed.

Zhara FM lifts Russian-language hits

Five stations joined our network statistics on October 19: Zhara FM, ROCK FM, Kazak FM, NASHE Radio and Radio Rodniki. The network grew from 183 to 188 stations, and Russian-language hits felt it first. LYRIQ — “Без тебя” rose from No. 18 to No. 8. On the stations we already counted, it played just as before: 197 times against 200. Zhara FM made the difference with 42 plays, five to seven a day.

IOWA — “МЫ” followed the same path, from No. 22 to No. 14. The old stations gave it 173 plays, down from 184. Zhara FM added another 40.

Basta keeps No. 1 thanks to Zhara FM

Баста & Моя Мишель — “Если я буду танцевать” tops the chart again with 339 plays, compared with 347. The weekend told a different story. Europa Plus Fresh aired it 12 to 14 times a day from Monday to Friday, then once on October 24 and once on the 25th. The main Europa Plus dropped it on the same two days. On the stations we already counted, it reached 298 plays. That would put “Sad Girls” by Bebe Rexha & David Guetta first, with 303. Zhara FM held the lead for Basta with 41 plays.

Maximum 90 refreshes its playlist

Outside the Top 100, the weekly Radar picks up new songs on Maximum 90. Since October 19 the station has played, every day, hits it did not air the week before. They include Spice Girls — “Say You'll Be There”, East 17 — “Hold My Body Tight” and Sade — “No Ordinary Love”, seven plays each. With DFM Pop Gold 90, Spice Girls reached 17 plays, up from 7.

What happened to last week's forecasts

Method and comparison limits

The week had 432,523 plays, 61,789 a day on average; the week before had 444,176. The two totals cannot be compared directly. On October 19 the network grew from 183 to 188 stations, and the five newcomers contributed 12,100 plays. October 12 was also the last day before our source started losing records. On the same 183 stations this week had 420,423 plays, about 60,060 a day against 61,106 for October 13–18.

Since October 13 our data source has sent part of the songs without an identifier, and those songs never reach the airplay history. The loss pattern did not change this week: daily totals for DFM, Hit FM and the automated channels stayed at their October 13–18 level, so songs on those stations are still undercounted.

Chart positions and weekly plays come from the official chart: all seven days, at least 185 sources against a minimum of 170. Twelve station-days without data were excluded: Radio 7 Vintage for the whole week (the broadcaster dropped this stream), Radio Sanremo on October 23–25 and Dorognoe Nostalgia on October 23–24. The chart itself shows no movement because the network changed. Previous positions come from the October 12–18 chart, and play comparisons use the same 183 stations. Different tracks is a daily average (30,966).

The Radar compares the same set of 180 stations in both weeks. It matches records by artist and title with medium reliability, so different versions may be counted separately.

Plays show what stations aired, not how many people listened. The daily mood profile is no longer published because it barely changed from day to day.

Next-week verification thresholds
  • “Primadonna”: confirmed at a top-5 position and at least 250 plays; weakened below 220.
  • “Если я буду танцевать”: confirmed at No. 1 and at least 320 plays; weakened below 290.
  • “Без тебя”: confirmed at a top-10 position and at least 230 plays; weakened below 200.
  • The network is now stable, so next week's comparison uses the same 188 stations.
